We exist to empower men from all walks of life to either establish or reestablish a path toward a career or post-secondary education. Through meaningful, mentor-based relationships, our participants are not only building positive social skills and a strong sense of self-worth they are learning to lead. We envision a future where young Black and Brown men are introduced to empowering ideas that reshape how they view themselves and their possibilities. Through the intentional inculcation of purpose, they will develop the mindsets and skills necessary to become visionary leaders not only capable of changing their own lives, but also transforming the communities they call home.

This is more than a mentoring program. This is a movement one rooted in purpose, built on relationships, and driven by the belief that our young men are not problems to fix, but leaders to develop.

The Men of Purpose Mentoring program is designed to empower men from all walks of life, to help them establish or reestablish a path that leads to a career or post secondary education, while cultivating strong leadership skills. As a result of a vital relationship with a suitable mentor, participants will develop positive social skills, increase self-worth, and make a healthy lifestyle their priority.

Vision

Men of Purpose Mentoring program envisions a process in which young men are introduced to empowering thoughts and ideas through inculcation. This process will cause the young men to develop into leaders, capable of becoming successful visionaries.
