The Men of Purpose Board is composed of accomplished professionals and community leaders united by a commitment to mentoring young men of color. Collectively, they bring expertise in education, finance, engineering, technology, social services, and grassroots activism. From corporate leadership and entrepreneurship to community advocacy and direct youth engagement, the Board offers a powerful blend of vision, accountability, and compassion.   • Donika Gigger

    Donika Gigger has over 15 years of experience serving youth across Chicagoland. With dual master’s degrees, she combines academic expertise with hands-on leadership, transforming challenges into opportunities for growth. Known for her vision, accountability, and compassion, Donika is dedicated to empowering young people through initiatives like Men of Purpose.

  • Nichelle Small, MBA

    With more than 20 years in accounting and finance, Nichelle Small specializes in financial reporting, budgeting, and operational efficiency. She has experience in both private and nonprofit sectors, improving processes and ensuring accurate, timely financial information. Detail-oriented and dependable, Nichelle brings strong fiscal stewardship to Men of Purpose.

  • Daryl M. Johnson

    Daryl Johnson is a technology and business leader with experience at Apple, Zoom, Microsoft, and ServiceTitan. He has led enterprise accounts, mergers and acquisitions, and workforce development initiatives. As Founder of Signature Vibez, he advances digital solutions and economic mobility. Passionate about mentorship, Daryl empowers youth through leadership and technology training.

  • Marcus A. McFarlin

    Marcus McFarlin is a mechanical engineer and licensed clinical social worker, blending technical innovation with a decade of service in behavioral sciences. Skilled in CAD design and problem-solving, he is committed to creating efficient, ethical solutions while inspiring youth to pursue imagination, purpose, and their unique gifts.

  • Ricardo D. Waddy Jr.

    Ricardo Waddy Jr., known as Waddy, is an activist, educator, and founding member of Men of Purpose. Rooted in Chicago’s Altgeld Gardens, he dedicates his life to uplifting Black families and communities. Through mentorship, education, and advocacy, Waddy provides youth with guidance, critical thinking skills, and exposure to broader opportunities.
